Hello,
Just wondering about a couple things related to system services:
1. Do I need to have the Windows Wireless Zero service enabled at startup if I'm using Access connections?
2. What about the rapid restore service? how resource intensive is it and if it is resource hungry, what's the best way to disable it?
Thanks,
Wireless Zero and Rapid Restore?
I use Access Connections with the Intel 2200BG Wireless Adapter and I have Windows Zero Configuration Service disabled. It works fine.
Rapid Restore service consumes 3,696 K of system memory, which doesn't seem too bad. It's listed under rrpcsb.exe on the processes tab in Task Manager. I don't have any more info on this service.
