Booq or Waterfield sleeve for 14 inch T43?

#1 Post by alpuzz » Fri Jun 17, 2005 1:21 pm

Just wondering whether there is a comparison anywhere of these sleeves? I want one that will fit in a backpack, provide good protection and at the same time, offer easy access to the laptop.

Thanks,

booq is better if you are going to fit it inside a backpack. Because you can open the sleeve without taking it out of the backpack.

I use booq with a backpack daily...it offers good padding. I hit my backpack on stuff all the time. No problem. :)

Anyone wants to try out a laptrap?

Sleeve which you can work out of without taking out the laptop. Convertable to a backpack. Not suitable for those who needs to bring along a lot of stuff tho.

It depends on your backpack. If you check out the dimensions of the booq, it's a bigger bag because it's more of a notebook bag than a sleeve. If your bag isn't huge (like my one), then the booq will be too big to even fit in your backpack, whilst the Waterfield SleeveCase usually fits pretty well. You also can take your notebook out of the SleeveCase without taking it out if you really want as long as you get a vertical one (or if your backpack is wide enough for a horizontal one).
