safe to flash T500 7VET94WW bios with whitelist bios for 6FET92WW

I have a no whitelist BIOS for T500 6FET92WW that I've successfully flashed on one Type 2053 and one Type 2242 T500.

I have a Type 2082 T500 a 7VET94WW Bios ID. Winphlash warns me that 6FET92WW bios doesn't match the Bios ID of my machine. Is it safe for me to flash this Bios anyway?

I want to remove the Whitelist so I can install a WWAN card and upgrade my wireless to Wireless AC. I do own another 6FET92WW T500 I could just move my drive and screen and RAM and CPU to but I hate disassembling everything....

Flashing a Bios contains a risk element. With the warning I wouldn't proceed with the flash. I have flashed all my Thinkpads and I have never had warnings about mismatches.

Strange thing. 2082 - is MT of T500, while 7VET94WW is a BIOS for T400 / R400 systems. It seems that someone have flashed wrong BIOS in past...?

T500 has 2 BIOS versions!

Check out this Lenovo thread. Someone had a T400 Bios flashed on their W500.

Are T400 and T500 Bioses secretly the same?? Should I try to find a no-whitelist 7VET94WW Bios for T400 to install on my T500? Why even are they different?
