T23 Battery

#1 Post by AshleyDobson » Sat Jun 18, 2005 1:09 pm

Hi All,

Recently inherited a T23 with a broken screen for my brother. Fix the screen by replacing the inverter, but now the battery does not seem to want to charge. The Orange light is flashing as soon as you turn the T23 on with the mains, but it just does not charge.

Have checked with my Bro and he said the battery def kept charge when he had it.

Any ideas anyone?, is there anything I could have done when taking it apart and putting it back together as I was amazed the amount of things you have to remove before you got to the inverter. Although I did follow the Hardware manual to do it, and there were not any worrying bits left over.

Thanks for reading

Ash

It's possible the battery is just completely dead after a few years. Can you borrow another T23 battery to test?
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
