Options for replacing a 15 inch T60 Motherboard

I read somewhere on this forum that I would be better advised replacing my dead T60 motherboard with one from a T61... If so, what part nos should I look out for? This T60 is a 15inch model.

You need a motherboard from a 14" (4:3) T61/p. No widescreen planars - be it from 14" or 15.4" - will fit. There are way too many FRUs involved for anyone to attempt listing them.
