FireGL V3200 Graphic Card - unified graphics memory

#1 Post by wiesl » Thu Jun 23, 2005 1:28 pm

Hello!

A questions according to the T43p FireGL V3200 graphic card:

The following links state that the FireGL V3200 has a "unified graphics memory". Does it mean that when I have e.g. 1GB of ram that 128MB of them are used for the graphic card or not?

Thank you for the answer.

Ciao,
Wiesl

The 128MB graphics memory is dedicated for the video card. I am not sure what unified graphics memory exactly means though.

It probably means the texture data, 3D data & 2D data share the same memory space. That's it.
