T43p + 1920*1200 display??

#1 Post by jkmin » Thu Jun 23, 2005 6:24 pm

Hi...

I'm now using T43p. First of all I really thank you for the really good information from you.
I'm just curious about whether I could use the 1920*1200 resolution or not.
Actually, when I check the display properties on windows, my T43p supports 1600*1200 and 2048*1536 but not 1920*1200 wide resolution.
Is there any way I can use this display?
Thanks in advance..

I've only had my new t43 for a few hours now, but assuming that you have an ATI card in your laptop, try using the omega drivers instead.

EDIT: you have a t43p, so you definitely have an ATI card, and I am almost sure it will be able to support such a resolution with the omega drivers.

you can also try the DNA drivers. You can get them here, i've been using them for over a year and they are very stable:

That said, I am using them for the fire gl t2, they might not have added functionality for your card.

Omega drivers can be found here:

Good luck.

IBM's standard video drivers now support 1920x1200. At least they do on my T42p.

They changed this around the beginning of the year.
