FS: X31 Thinkpads [Sold]
Thanks everyone. Everything sold! Unless a buyer doesn't follow through nothing else is available right now, BUT if you'd like me to send you an e-mail should something slip through the cracks please send me a PM.
As I said in a previous post where I'm selling the extra batteries for our X31's, I have moved from X31's to X41's so I am selling our remaining X31's. Here's what I have left. All are in wonderful condition, very clean, perfect screens, good working batteries with at least 2/3 of original capacity remaining, and far superior to what one can purchase elsewhere on eBay. Don't even TRY to compare please!
#1) ***SOLD*** 2672-PUU - 1.6GHz - 40GB 5400rpm HDD (upgraded to this NEW drive with mfg. date of April 23, 2005) - 1GB RAM - IBM a/b/g Wireless - US English keyboard - Windows XPP COA - Remainder of 3yr. IBM Warranty thru May 2007 --> PRICE - $1099
#2) ***SOLD*** 2672-C8G - 1.4GHz - 40GB (newer hard drive dated August 6, 2004) - 768MB RAM - Intel 802.11b Wireless (Centrino) - UK English Keyboard - Windows XPP COA - Remainder of 3yr. IBM Warranty thru December 2006 --> PRICE - $949
#3) ***SOLD*** 2672-JBU - 1.4GHz - 40GB - 768MB RAM - Intel 802.11b Wireless (Centrino) - US English keyboard - Windows XPP COA - Remainder of 3yr. IBM Warranty thru April 2006 --> PRICE - $899
All are in similar condition and include an a/c adapter and a good battery that charges to 100% and will regester at least 30 of the orignial 47 capacity, what IBM claims is proper for a 1-year-old battery (but will usually be more!). I will include copies of recent Restore CD's (Windows XPP SP2, November 2004) at no charge if requested. Serial numbers will be provided to buyer prior to sending payment so verification can take place.
If you receive it and it isn't what I represented just call me that same day, re-pack everything as carefully as I did, and send it back to me.
I also have an extra Main Battery, two Extended Batteries (one SOLD, so only 1 left!), a Port Replicator, and an X3 Ultrabase with the latest version of the Combo Drive (the Combo IV) (X3 with Combo Drive has SOLD) , an X3 Floppy Drive, and a USB Floppy Drive, all available as an add-ons.
I am also open to trades for items in the X4* platform.
Yes, you can PM me with serious questions, or even to tell me how my prices are just way out of line compared to the filthy, well used, dead battery stuff on eBay (I enjoy a good laugh). I will accept Postal Money Orders, Cashiers Checks from a major US bank, or even PayPal (if you pay the fee).
Thanks,
Yak

rslaughter,
Using the IBM Battery Software:
Capacity remaining / Original designed capacity
Now that may be a bit misleading on the conservative side as I've never bought a new battery that ever started at it's "designed capacity". For me they always start lower.

Then why did't you buy it or make a serious offer on the package you wanted? It's been posted here a few days now and you knew it was available as you already posted a response questioning the battery life of that 1.6GHz model. The others are just as nice so if you are truely worried about squeezing out that last drop of power they might be better for you anyway?RS_003 wrote:Mhzz,, I wanted the 1.6
I have prices posted for the laptops. You have to tell me EXACTLY what it is you want for me to put together a package price. When I sell I want NO problems or misunderstandings, so I need to be perfectly clear what I'm pricing for you.RS_003 wrote:Anyway, pm me a offer for the newest 1.4Ghz... (since its only 150$ below the PUU while the performance / specs where much higher)
And the prices for the battery's + options (except the ibm FDD)
I didn't put prices on every little thing because I'd rather not sell them without a laptop due to the lack of serious buyers/offers and the effort involved for me to sell that way. For example, the $25 offers being PM'ed to me for a nearly new battery including free delivery & insurance (which are about $8 on a properly packaged battery) aren't exactly giving me a reason to drive the nearly 20 miles to my nearest UPS or USPS when it's 95-degrees and 100% humidity down here! If I could strap it to a Sandhill Crane for delivery or you lived down the street I wouldn't care, but unless someone PM's an offer like that right after I take my Vicodin (or I'm already going into town for another reason) I'm not likely to sell that low unless I'm packaging together a bunch of stuff.
RS_003, I'm here most of the day... PM me!
Yak
