remapping web keys

#1 Post by scotto » Sat Jun 25, 2005 6:51 pm

The web keys running down the left side of my a31p keyboard aren't useful because they point to IE functions I never use. Is there a way to remap them? The IBM web navigation keys agent does let you assign the mailer and web keys but doesn't let you change the other four.

Any way to change this in the registry or something?

Thanks,

Scott

KeyTweak works great here. No non-sense running in the background.

That's a nice tool to know about. Thanks. But it's not quite what I was looking for, or at least it doesn't go all the way. What I'd like to do is map those web nav keys to programs -- to make the call a calculator or something just like the mail key calls the default mail program.

Is that doable?
