Hello!
I had a look at the display of the T41/T42/T43 series in 1024x768 resolution. The display changes contrast even when you move your head a small amount from the center point.
The 1600x1200 resolution looked very well with angular contrast changes, but fonts are a little bit small (and the notebook is 15").
Is the display with 1400x1050 resolution quite good as the display with 1600x1200 resoltion? (contrast changes on head moves)
Thank you for the answer.
Ciao,
Wiesl

Definitely not. LCDs should only be run at their native resolution (see the other font text post).
Try changing the font dpi and/or cleartype settings (again see the other post). Failing that trade in your machine for one with a lower resolution screen. Buying a UXGA screen to display XGA resolution is not optimal (and indeed, it looks worse than just buying the cheap XGA screen to start with).

Ok, I do not want to run other than native resolution. I only wanted to compare different displays in different resolution according to quality of the panel.simscitizen wrote:Definitely not. LCDs should only be run at their native resolution (see the other font text post).

Because of the 1024x768 panel is IHMO very worse.

Are you trying to compare the FlexView v. non-FlexView screens? If so, I'll make it easy for you;
FlexView currently only comes with the 15" screens in the T-Series. However, FlexView does eat considerably more battery power than the regular screens.
