Which A/B/G card?

#1 Post by boilermakerinatl » Mon Jun 27, 2005 11:26 am

I have come across several different models of the IBM A/B/G wireless card. Can someone help explain the differences and/or benefits of these different models?

91P7301 - SuperG 108?
39T0071 - Made by Philips? Is this a newer model?
73P4301 - For US only?

I'm sure there are probably others too. Will all of these cards prevent the error message 1802?

Thanks,
Eric

the only one that won't have teh 1802 error is the one from IBM's website. I installed one on my T40, and have had no problems with the error. Supposedly, there is a way to sqeeze Super-G out of the card, as it uses the super g chipset, but it is disabled in the driver.
