Okay, so I disabled both in bios but I used a diagnostic program (HWiNFO64) and it shows that both are still active. So I did some research and found you should reactive both, then CTRL-P on boot, go in and change the Intel AT password, then disable there. Then I went back and disabled in the bios again but STILL shows as active. Then downloaded the AMT firmware update that's supposed to fix the issues but everything shows as active still. Any ideas?
Is this a high risk? I bought both my T430 and T440 from a guy on Kijiji so I'm guessing he could potentially have messed with this. I'm not a super geek so I'd need step by step instructions on how to disable and also looking for a way to confirm if what I do to disable actually worked.
