#1 Post by suzukipro » Wed Jun 29, 2005 7:27 am

I just pick up a T22 for $320.00 and wonder if it got a good deal on it.
It is visualy in perfect condition and functions the same too. Now one of my first questions is, should I spend the money to upgrade from 256mb ram to 512mb ram any one who has done this was it worth it?
Many Thanks, :D

I would say you got a good deal.

It depends what you intend to use the machine for - personally i can never have enough RAM but depending on the purpose it may not be worth it.

Thanks for the info I just wanted to ask and see before I go ahead and upgrade to 512 mb. Anyone have any suggestions as to where the best place to purchase ram ? or am I better off just looking on ebay?
Also if anyone has any other info regarding the T22 I'd appreciate hearing about it. Thanks again,

Have you check to make sure you have a free RAM slot?
There are only two slots, if only one is used, then you can add another 256MB. If both are used, then you will have replace both sticks to get to
512MB. Memory for the T22 is not cheap. Your cheapest option is probably Ebay.

Also, be careful with the memory for T22. I think it only accepts the low-density sodimms (8 chips on a side, 16 chips total). The T21 definitely
requires the low-density version.
