Since I am not using it any longer, is there any interest in a perfectly working scanner?
I bought this in January 1999 and have babied it since, hence it is still "as-new" looking!
AGFA SnapScan 1236s Flatbed scanner, specs here
Runs on 100V-240V, USA power cable included.
It must be connected to a desktop/tower that has a free PCI-slot.
In there you install an Adaptec AVA-2905/AIC-7850 SCSI card and use a 25-pin SCSI-cable (both included).
Comes with original manual and software for PC and Macintosh.
There is also a program VueScan available, with which you can run this scanner in any Windows x86, Windows x64, Mac OS X and Linux.
Some review here in English and in German
If someone undertakes the trip to collect this, I'll make it worth his/her while and add a few more FREEbies:
