Does T4x have a hardware reset button?

#1 Post by Mofongo » Tue Jun 22, 2004 7:08 pm

A couple of times now (mostly in testing Linux drivers) I have had to reboot my T42 from a freeze by unplugging AC and battery, which is a little scarey. Is there a hardware reset button somewhere? (Or some sort of magical button sequence?)

try holding down the power button for 4 seconds...this should work, it's pretty standard among newer comps...

I may be wrong, but I think it actually *is* a standard, part of the whatever specification is used for power on laptops and desktop pcs
