X220T IPS Issues

#1 Post by pazuko » Mon Jan 28, 2019 5:22 pm

So, until I receive my drives, I am running a live version of Linux Lite from a USB to test the waters of my X220T. Two things I have noticed right off the bat:
  • some white-bleed (from the back-light I presume) spots at the edge when viewing a dark background, it's not that big of an issue, though. I take it that this is an inevitability;
  • a subtle orange frame, thin segments with a concentrated dot at each corner. This is most noticeable on a white background, but can also be seen on select color and image background, but more-so the dots rather than the segments.
I am more concerned with #2. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you.
