What type of Memory for T40

#1 Post by najibs » Tue Jun 22, 2004 9:46 pm

I've got a T40 2373 model and I need to know what type of SODIMM's to purchase. Do they have to be DDR266 or can they be DDR333?

What brand is the best?

I'm in Toronto and here, the most readily avaiilable is Kingston for about $120 for a 512Mb SODIMM od DDR333. They also sell KingMAX...is that any good?

Thanks,
Najib

yeah...go to http://www.crucial.com and go through the steps to find the memory compatible with your system. I believe the T40's take DDR PC2100 which clocks in at 266MHz.

You need a PC2100 memory module at 266MHz.
