I have a couple of questions about the Thinkpad T43's compatibility with aftermarket DVD roms and wireless cards.
I did a quick search on the forum and it seems that if you're going for a DVD burner you'll have to purchase from IBM/Lenovo as most manufacturers don't make 9.5mm drives.
I just want a DVD-ROM/CDRW combo, are there drives I can use for my thinkpad? I searched newegg but they don't list the size (12mm 9mm etc)
Also I have heard that thinkpads are picky about the Wireless MiniPCI cards used and if you use an aftermarket Intel one it will not work. You have to purcahse the IBM/Lenovo. Is this correct?
Thanks!
