On my Dad's T30 (which I am setting up for him) the internal wireless "b" is working very well on my home network (DLink DI-624). I did a test comparing transfer rates with this system and my T21 using a DLink "g" PCMCIA card. As expected, the g card system was much faster, by about a factor of three. I know he'll be going wireless soon and am debating between the two alternatives.
My question: if you run a PCMCIA WLAN nic, is it best (advisable?) to disable the internal WLAN nic in device manager?
Thanks, kj
