External Screen Output X31
Hi folks
is there any way to power up the level of the vga output ?
My X31 is connected to my Iiyama 17" TFT-Display running on 1280x1024.
The graphics are not really sharp, so I´d like to improve this ...
Problem under analog & DVI connection via Ultrabay.
Thinking about getting a new bigger TFT, but if the VGA sucks right now under my resolution, then 10 times more under 1920x1200 ...
THANKS // K.

Huh?
"power up the level"?!? Do you want to increase the voltage of the signal?
Most 17" LCD monitors have 1280x1024 pixels. You cannot display more than that.
If the image is blurry, it could be because you're using an analog signal, or because you're using a damaged or cheap video cable. IIRC, the X31 does not have DVI at all, so any DVI connector on a dock will not work.

Hi !
Vga Cable = Good Quality
DVI via Port Replikator ...
Sure 17" only can do 1280x1024 ... but I am thinking about upgrading with an 23inch apple tft or similar. The ATI Graphics support up to 20XXx... - This is fine - but my question is if it becomes worse than the current situation using a bigger tft, you know ?!
Do you think a monitor spliter box with external power is a solution ?
