AMEX states - Save 10 to 21%* on select IBM ThinkPad notebooks and ThinkCentre desktops

Well, what are actual discount people are getting on preconfigured models? How close to 20%???

Not sure about the discounts with AMEX, but below are two links for discounts through Visa and students/alumni. They seem to be about 10% for the most part, some items more and some less.

is there a link to the mastercard website. I don't think my parenta will pay for my thinkpad so i need to pay with my debit mastercard.

Well, you could try replacing the word "visa" with "mastercard" in the above link...
