Ok, heres my experance (Finally called IBM on wireless issue! Yay)
A:Transfered to rep. Pretty friendly. Spoke faster than I can type (150WPM!)
Got everything set up finally for a tech support account
B:Transfering to tech rep... Mmm not elevator music but jazz, nice differance
Got to tech rep, told issues on X300, suspend, and wireless. He wants me to check with Linksys. PS - I asked him on the Seagate harddrive issue, he said he wasn't in that department or knew much on the field (I'm guessing BIOS?). Anyways I ran the tests/etc. It failed a few times... (Many). He recomends me to to check with Linksys for advanced troubleshooting.
C:Going to Linksys livesupport chat thing...
I get to talk to Jill N. Whoever that is. Now I told them IBM transfered me (They were confused) to Linksys for support. After a looong talk on "seeing if I can hijack my neighbors connection" (It worked sometimes). And they guess it wasn't my fault then (On wireless I hope). Now after another long talk. They want me to try "NetFix" which says "ROUTER INCOMPATABLE". They told me to come back later...
D:I come back to their livesupport chat.
I am treated like another different person. They act if I am physco and new... *ARGH!* I told them that the program said I had an incompatable router. They ask if I have a Linksys router (Duh!). I say I do, and now they want me to check if it is... Read the MAC, etc. Long troubling experance... I later tell "My IBM laptop does not connect to the Linksys router" to recieve a "GET OUT" and dropped out of chat
F:Going back to IBM!
I go through a rep.. Now to the tech rep. His name is apparently James. Now I tell him about my wireless and suspend issues (Decide to leave out X300 issues). I am hung up on....
Arrgh. Updating wireless = Now does not work anymore.
PS - Should the wireless light go off (And rarely go back on) during the connection process
They called back... Something happened (The guy fell asleep?)
T43 Techsupport (Bad experance, might actually end up good)

Good experance - Its fine on my Thinkpad's side... Its my router... (And their tech support keeps kicking me out of their chat)
"Quick" littile chat thing
IBM Tech guy:Looks like everything is fine on our side. Try asking the router company
Me:They dropped me out of their online tech chat thing serveral times
IBM Tech guy:*Chuckles* They often do that send people back to us so we can solve their problem on their product
Now proceeding to go to Linksys chat...

John G(14239): Well what I'll do is forward this concern to our engineers. And have a look at it. For now, I would advise you if you could, maybe get hold of a wireless card that you could use for stability purposes.
Sounds great... But I can't get a new card
Eugene: I'm currently using 3rd party firmware (I can't find V4 for my router), which also allows me to be able to connect more easily.
Eugene: http://www.linksysinfo.org/modules.php? ... link&cid=2 HyperWRT.
Eugene: Would there be any bad side effects or no
John G(14239): I'm not familiar with 3rd party firmwares for our routers, so basically I couldn't vouch for that.
I guess they don't care if I use HyperWRT
Well... We need an Intel Rep here.
PS - I asked IBMovo on the harddrive issue (Again). They said they were not informed of such a change in the BIOS...
