Hi everyone,
Just bought a T42 2373L1M (bluetooth ready), but it cannot detect a bluetooth wireless mouse made by Microsoft. The mouse works OK with the tranceiver that comes with the mouse, but I don't want the tranceiver since the laptop itself has built-in BT. Anyone can tell me how to set up the mouse? Thanks.
How to set up bluetooth mouse with T42

Bluetooth Radio
The Bluetooth radio isn't turned on by default so if you haven't turned it on you might need to. On my T42 there is an indicator light showing if Bluetooth is on. To turn it on hit Fn F5 and you should see the option.
Once the radio is turned on go to control panel and you should see a Bluetooth option. Bring it up and use it to add the mouse. I didn't install the Microsoft software so if you have installed it your procedure might be different. Good luck...Bob
