When I check My Normal Display Settings and hit capture, it doesn't quite capture my settings correctly. I'm running 1400 x 1050 at 32 bit on my thinkpad lcd, and 1280 x 1024 at 32 bit on my external vga lcd display which I set up with the windows display properties dialog. After I capture and save those settings, I go to the edit screen to see what's saved, and to my dismay, both the thinkpad lcd and the external lcd display are set at 1400 x 1050, which obviously upsets the system when I try to apply it. It won't even work right when I manually input the correct resolutions by creating a new profile. I'll put in the right resolutions and bit rates, but when I hit test, it gives me an error message saying that "the following settings that you have selected cannot be applied". then it'll list things like resolution or bit rate, which I know for sure are compatible with both displays.
Is this a driver issue? I'm running Omega drivers version 2.6.42.

Presentation Director Weirdness
Is this set up going through a port replicator/dock/mini-dock? I have a user that is experiencing a similar issue on her T41 going through a mini-dock. The error she is getting from Presentation Director is "The following settings you have selected cannot be applied properly. Change the settings and try again. Display Configuration."
I'm currently suspecting something wrong with the mini-dock, but she's offsite so I haven't had a chance to swap it out. Her current configuration worked fine in her old office with an identical monitor, but with a port replicator instead of mini-dock.
Have you made any headway on this? Would anyone else like to weigh in?
Thanks,
Ben

funny thing, I read the title of this thread and thought, "wow, my presentation director is acting weird too." then I realized it was MY thread from back in july.
But anyway, thanks for the reply, and I'll give it a shot.
