omega drivers for the v3200?

#1 Post by Bandit33 » Sun Jul 10, 2005 7:49 pm

hey guys,

recently got my t43p and i wanted to know if people have had success using the omega drivers for the v3200, or had any other suggestions for making that card a little more game-friendly. OpenGL is not important for me and otherwise the card should work just like an x600, right?

(yes, i've read the FAQ and tried the crappy search feature...but i'd really just like a happy success story from someone before i start messing around)

Thanks a lot.

Also, are ATI's newest drivers for the v3200 an improvement over the preloaded IBM ones?

Bandit very good question. Does the 3200 with drivers work like a x600? Hopefully we will get a response. I am looking at buying a t43 but the x300 gives me pause. So maybe I would be better off with a 43p.
