Turbocharge Your Linksys Access Point (for WRT54G users)

#1 Post by GomJabbar » Mon Jul 11, 2005 10:22 pm

I am behind in my magazine reading, and I just ran across an article in PC Magazine (03/22/05, page 76) that may be of interest to you Linksys WRT54G users. I don't have a Linksys router, so I can't verify or vouch for the following. See link below for the article:

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1769239,00.asp

P.S. The article is several pages long.

Hm, they write about santori....it´s the oldest release from sveasoft, followed by alchemy and now talisman. I recommend to take a look on ddwrt and openwrt.

My buddy has one all hacked up. But I have no problems with mine running the factory firmware.....havn't touch the thing in about a month.

Interesting, maybe I'll give it a try.
