"backlight leakage" and "sparkle effect"

Does anyone here have any complaints about "backlight leakage" or "sparkle effect" on their X series LCDs?

As in, backlight leaking out of the edges of the screen?

I can see a little on the left side of my X21 if I view it turned at about an 85 degree angle, with the right side closer to me (so the laptop is facing towards my left).

My screen is perfect!!! No dead pixels, no backlight leakage. Exceptionally bright and sharp too!

Backlight leakage, i.e. uneven backlight (photo stolen from another forum) :

I was told "sparkle effect" is when the display looks like a dusty CRT. White areas of the screen sparkle.

Well, I've got a dusty LCD, but no sparkle, then.

Also, no backlight leakage.

i dunno. i wipe my x40's lcd spotless every few days because im anal about that kind of thing.

no leakage though.

I'm about to do that again, 'cause this screen's got some stuff that just brushing it off won't clean...
