Did your CTO Thinkpad come with a HD caddy?

#1 Post by boilermakerinatl » Sat Jul 16, 2005 3:15 pm

I've ordered a bare bones R52 (no HD, wireless, optical drive, battery, or memory). I've heard mixed opinions if a hard drive caddy will be included or not. I've seen them on eBay for about $14 shipped, but I don't want to buy one if I don't need it. So far I've been able to pick up some really good deals on eBay.

31P9701 Wireless A/B/G mpci card - $51
13N6771 CDRW/DVD Slim combo drive - $31
08K8193 6 cell battery - $23

All parts are brand new and genuine IBM, prices shipped. It pays to shop around!

No, there's no caddy with CTO units.
