Move Bluetooth "card" ?

Can the Bluetooth/modem option in a T42 be swapped into a T42 with the modem only? My friend has a T42 14" that we might swap for my T42 15" but i want to keep my bluetooth option. His model has no bluetooth.

if you open up the keyboard, lift the modem card and you see the bluetooth antenna cable (labeled "BT") just laying around there not connected to anything, then you are good to go with the swap. otherwise, its still possible but very difficult as you will have to take the entire lcd apart.

Here is some help for you. Although it's for T40/41, the modem/BT card is at the same place in T42.
