Antenna ?

Hello,
I am looking for the LAN antenna that goes into the LCD cover for a TP G-41, 28813au. Same one that is used in the G-40 model. In the HMM, page 143, it is item 4, part number 91P8551.

Any help tracing this item will be tremendously appreciated. It is neither an FRU nor a CRU but..... !

I already had it all apart and it is still working I also have the Mini-PCI card.

You should be able to find the part from IBM if you dig. I just bought the antenna for the A31/P a few months ago and it works like a charm.

You might also check eBay for one as well.

I did get a pair of antenna for this G-41, on eBay as you suggested. It was linked to a URL here. This one does not look lime the physical shape of the drawing in the HMM but worth a try. An antenna is an antenna ! It does not know the TP that it goes into, just the frequency used, methinks.

The IBM cost is over $190.00, I got it for $12.00 including S/H. Good old eBay.
