As I'm still in nitpick mode, I'll bite.
It's either "Keep it simple, stupid!" or "Keep it small and simple!". The first version might not be appropriate for all audiences, while the latter one lacks in expressive power.

I know. It never made a sense to me as a design principal as "Keep It Simple, Stupid". So I changed it a bit. :)

when i was living aboard my 65' irwin sailboat and my 65' motoryacht, i used KISS as KEEP IT SIMPLE and SERVICEABLE..

since, as anyone with a boat of most any kind, will tell you that most stuff (systems) on most any boat is nearly UN-serviceable..
so when reworking those systems you should do it in a way makes whatever it is, more serviceable.. :)
