Can you please post a pic of the actual item. How does it fit the t-42 thinkpad with 14.1 lcd? snug?

It fits the T42/T43 14.1" model perfectly, very nice and snug, even more snug with the extended battery. I don't have a T42/T43 anymore to show a picture of it with the notebook inside it.

However...
There has been EXTENSIVE discussion of this sleeve on these forums. It is the best fitting sleeve made, and the highest quality made for the T42/T43. There is little disagreement on this, and you won't be disappointed.

Waterfield made this sleeve to properly fit the Thinkpads, and every make/model that they sell sleeves for. They are a high quality outfit.

You don't need to worry about fit. It is PERFECT!
