Fingerprint Control Centre at startup?

#1 Post by jianlian » Wed Jul 20, 2005 8:00 pm

I just got a new T42, and I can't figure out why the Fingerprint Control
Centre always starts up after I log in. My friend with a T42 and has this same problem.

I've already got my fingerprints set up so I don't see why it keeps opening. I've checked in msconfig as well as the startup folder, but I haven't found any way to disable it. Anyone know how?

Go to "Control Center". Check the box "Do not show this window again"

Now is there any way to keep the R&R software from popping up every time you change your password? I have no interest in password-protecting my backups, but I can't figure out how the R&R hooks in.

As for the password thing, that "don't bug me again" checkbox is right at the bottom of the window.

I do like the way they tied the fingerprint reader into all the pre-boot passwords and WinXP boot itself. Very slick.
