If you do find the link, I'm sure that'd be pretty cool to look at.
p.s. I have a IBM 760ED as well.
Rock on! I've rebuilt and repaired various 760E's and ED's that at this point, I could probably dismantle completely and rebuild one with a blindfold on.

Well, while I couldn't find that old link, I did come up with this link.

http://www.tpuser.idv.tw/articles/yamato-1.htm

The article itself is in Chinese but the powerpoint presentation that Yamato lab made to the Taiwanese delegation was in English.

I think many of you will find the powerpoint slide interesting.

Many knew this already, but Thinkpad design was based on a classic Japanese style lunch box. One of the picture showed a girl holding an all black lunch box with a variety of tasty food inside. That was the idea of thinkpads, plain on the outside but it is the inside that made it a great product.

I forgot to add, the article said it is still possible to buy "Made in Japan" T30 in Japan.

My newly acquired X41 is "Manufactured for Lenovo, Made in China". I believe the box the machine came in also said Winstron on it.
X41 (2525-6HU), 1.5GB RAM, X4 Ultrabase with DVD/CD Burner Combo
Waterfield Sleevecase Vertical Size 4
