750ED Screen "wigs out"

#1 Post by jneedles » Fri Jul 22, 2005 2:39 am

the display on my 760ed starts looking like a tv that is going out of tune, then I give it a whack and it comes back. Any Ideas where to look for loose things?

Sounds like the cable going from the LCD to the mainbard is either dirty and/or loose. You can find this cable and how to get to it if you look in the hardware maintenance guide. You'll have to remove the keyboard to get to the cable.
