Try https://www.esnipe.com/
Been using this for years!
I'd rather negotiate for a rational price within my range.
That is exactly what esnipe does, you set your max. price and hope for the best.
If still within your budget a few seconds before closing, esnipe will bid, otherwise let it go.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

Well, my bad, I didn't make it clear. I just dislike the auction itself. It's about whether collectible deserves a good price or a good owner. Though I'd like to pay more than the final price, I do not want to join the bidding game, for there might be other people who are more "suitable" for the item, but more "price-sensitive".
Weird guy? Yes I am  Functionality wise esnipe does the thing, good to know and glad to use (for other thing), and thanks. :thumbs-UP:

I can't find the software on archive.org, assuming it was already uploaded. If so, where are you hosting the recovery software? I'd like to add it to my stash. :)
I've just started uploading obscure disc images here, so far just the 820 discs (NT 3.51 PMZ, 820 PP, SoftWindows 32 for NT PPC). You'll also find the 850 CDs including AIX 4.1.5 client and the 850 Program Pack for AIX/NT here courtesy of the OS2 Museum.

Enjoy - and thanks for keeping your archive topped up and available :D
