[WTB] ThinkPad X60/X61 Tablet w/ LED mod

I bought an LED screen from Kevin Shop on AliExpress:

I asked for the X61 Tablet inverter but received an X61 inverter. They're not compatible. I messaged Kevin Shop and after some AI-assisted, real-time (?) translation, Kevin Shop provided a tracking number for an X61 Tablet LED inverter board that seems valid, but hasn't yet been received by the shipping service. Meanwhile, I must have crossed some threshold of message frequency or return deadline, because AliExpress no longer lets me send messages to Kevin Shop (?).

I would like to acquire a proper LED inverter so I can use this LED screen, or otherwise acquire a pre-modified LED unit.

Anyone have any leads?

Update: Never received the correct inverter. Kevin Shop seems to still exist, but the specific item I ordered is now a dead link.

It looks like he took down and put up a new listing for the SXGA+ screens because I left a bad review when I got my SXGA+ for my X60... it had a very obvious 'old-timey picture-tube' as shown on xiphmonts blog post about fake screens: https://xiphmont.dreamwidth.org/90510.html

What I didn't know is that this effect can be mitigated by adjusting VR-1 on the back of the LCD panel itself... I don't know why AliExpress doesn't let you change your reviews but I did add on that the effect was not as bad as I was first led to believe it was.

Sorry to hear about your experience with him but I would just try and message him again on a new account if you need to and send him the tracking info for the inverter that has never been sent out. That's about all you can do anyways unfortunately.

Kinda crazy for him to re-post his entire Aliexpress store just because of some bad reviews... I believe he had a few good reviews on that same ad to counteract yours, but it does really stink that people can't change their reviews.

I tried again from the new link and this time receieved a working panel with the correct inverter. It is now installed and working fine. Seems like it might even be a legit HPV121P01-100. With the LED backlight screen quality is similar to the X201 Tablet, which is also LED.

Seconding the comment above, I also purchased and found the panel worked fine. Thank you for the input. Funny to see how responsive the store was to a negative review.
