Any info on the Z series?

I've heard speculation here and there of a widescreen Z series ThinkPad. Is there any word of it at this moment? If so, will it replace any of the current lines or simply be a variant of the T series, etc.?

I've checked google news a couple times, but I haven't pulled up any solid information on a widescreen form factor.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
