heat issues on x32
heat issues on x32
Hi,
I got my X32 yesterday (1.8GHz 745). I am very impressed with the size and weight of this thinkpad. However, the laptop seems to get hot very easily. I went through the forum's views on related problems -- I used the CHC to set the voltage level to the lowest level. Even after this, the processor temparature under not so heavy conditions seems to be in the range of 48-50. Is this normal for X32? Can some one tell me if they also faced the same problem? How about the X40 -- how high does the temparatures of this laptop go?
best!!

Re: heat issues on x32
don't worry, my X40 becomes easily very hot too. Mainly in the summer now where 35-40 is outside.nagender wrote:Hi,
