Hihger resolution on external LCD

Hi,

I have thinkpad X40 with 1024x768 native LCD. And when I plugin external LCD then it won't let me set higher resolution

Install the driver that came with your monitor. It'll make it work.

Thanks, I figured it out. I put there 'double' LCD+External and then resolution is limited by LCD. I setup output to External only and then I was able to increase resolutin. Thanks
