IBM Easy Access for Higher Education vs. Student/Alumni

Hi everyone

I am completely new to this forum but it has been really informative browsing through the wealth of information. Anyways, my question is what's the difference between Higher Ed and Student/Alumni.

How does one qualify for each one and which one has lower prices (if there is a diff)?

I'm looking at a t43 with these specs

must be Pentium M 750
512 mb
40 or 60 GB HD
14.1 " SXGA+
DVD/CDRW

so far, i have noticed these...

2668-46u
2687-d7u


If there are any with similar specs, plz plz fill me in and also which one of the above (and the similar specs) has been known to be generally quieter.

I just used mgenin's link and it worked fine. put the part number you are looking for in quick buy area and click go it will give you your price.

ok, well these 2 pages do indeed have different prices..
