AC adapter get really hot when on full performance

i have just bought new ibm t43p laptop. and wondering if normal that ac adapter get really (hard to touch it with bare hand) hot when running on full performance. anyone has experiances with that?

Yes they get hot as they are a Power Supply Unit. People on here will probably tell you that it's not normal but it is. They get very hot at times - nothing to worry about.

Mine gets very hot aswell. Normally when on a low charge rate.
It's quite normal. Don't worry :)

Or if you're crazy enough, take a small thin, but long shaped CPU heatsink, and somehow attach it to your powerblock (Without using glue/thermal grease)
It works like wonders when I charge my airsoft batterys(900MAH battery at 3500MAH gets hot!). Tho the contact isn't the best, its effective.
