Lexus & Acura Brand Value...others to consider?

Does Lexus have a better brand value which impacts the resale value, than Acura?

I'm comparing the Lexus GS 300 and Acura RL...both around $45,000 without tax at local dealers...

In my opinion, Lexus has better but want to hear others...

Or is a Audi A6 (about same price as the above) or BMW 530i a better choice for $3,000 extra?

I'm searching a vehicle with low depreciation, low maintance and repair cost, and high resale value...
