T43p 2668-H3U

Ordered my T43p 2668H3U from California on July 25, 2005.

Upon ordering I received an email confirmaiton with an estimate ship date of August 18, 2005. However, when I clicked on the order tracking link, it showed no estimate delivery date. It only showed "Call XYZ".

After a couple days, part of my order (minidock and battery) showed they had shipped, but the laptop itself had not. It has remianed this way until today.

Today, August 1st, 2005, I received:
-T43p with additional RAM as ordered
-Mini-dock
-Slim Battery
-6 Cell Battery
-Carrying Case
-& Everything else...

I hope this helps those that are trying to figure out shipping issues with Lenovo.

That's great for you but could potentially suck for anyone not expecting the shipment and therefore not able to sign for it.

I've had the same inaccurate shipment date issues with Dell before and it infuriates me because I work at home and have to make sure I'm here to receive a shipment.

Yeah, I can understand that.

I had everything shipped to my office and so someone here was able to sign for it, as I was not in.

Mine finally shipped today.

I ordered a 2687DSU (2ghz) on 7/01/05 est ship date online was 8/23/05 when I called the rep said they recieved an email saying those systems would be shipped out during the first two weeks of august.

The odd thing was I received an "Order Delay Notice" that said my system would be shipped august 2nd via email, and the rep told me to disregard it but it was actually true.
