#1 Post by nrj45 » Thu Aug 04, 2005 2:24 pm

If i have it right understood, this bios does nothing else than :
- supporting last new t43/p
- some video memory tweaks on selected models
- some boot/fingerpring modifs.

no new embedded controller/hdd support or fan triggering adjustement ?
17.06.05:
t43p (2668G4G), PM750, 2Go dual, 1032GAX (100gb/5k/16mb) 2010 error msg, SXGA+ 14.1", V3200, DVD-RW, GBeth, Intel abg, bt, 9 cells, XPPro/Ubuntu, Fingerprint,
800MHz-0.7Vcore, LCD min -> 13Watts

You are correct. Sometimes new BIOS versions don't do anything other than support new models of ThinkPads.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
