Fn + F7 slow when using battery..

I have my presentation director set to open the "choose display menu" when i press Fn+F7. When I have the A/C adapater plugged in, its instant. However, when I'm running off the battery it takes at least 45-60 seconds to open the "choose display menu". I tried setting it to just automatically use one of the schemes when i press the key sequence, but had the same slow results.

Perhaps it's the CPU speed setting in your power profile.
