Tips for R50 Thinkpad users.

Again i mention here , i bought a new IBM R50e laptop last week
. It bundled with DOS os. I format & install Windows XP professional.
I download drivers from IBM's web site. It was easier to find and
download all driver's.

When u install Windows XP and apply SP1 ,
I saw SM Bus controller marked with yellow marking at device manager.

I installed all drivers .

But still it was showing same yellow marking

I applied XP Service pack 2 ..Wow !!! It really took drivers for
SM Bus controller . Now no yellow markings .

I recommand you all users to apply SP2 so wont face any problem


Intel Centrino speed step activelt supports Windows XP by default .
So i suggest you to install windows XP not windows 2000
