Prices for IBM Notebooks

Hey everyone,

i was just about to buy the laptop i wanted on the Lenovo website, and i saw that all their laptops went back up to retail price. Anyone know if the prices are gonna go back down anytime soon?

Check with Bill. He'll have lower prices (and faster arrival), I'm sure.

yeah i just checked with bill and he doesnt have that model up for sale. anyone else know about the prices on the Lenovo site?

Have you also checked the Visa/Mastercard/Amex pages? They offer discounts of 5-20% on many models.

i tried looking there but i didn't see any deals that i could use. does anyone know of any other place i can look for discounted notebooks? the Lenovo site was my best bet...i coulda saved around 500-600 bucks but the darn prices went back up.

If you are a college student, educator, or a college alumni, you can get an education discount thru http://www.ibm.com/education/us This site also seems to have the widest selection of notebooks.
