I was using my T20 in my car on battery today. I'm running XP Sp2. I have it set to Suspend when I close the lid. It's been working without any problems.
This afternoon when I opened the lid to un-Suspend it the system locked up. I may have hit the Fn Key while it was starting. The screen stayed black, no lights lit and so on. When I hit the start button the HDD light flashed for a second.
I pulled the HDD out and restarted and it went though POST and I was able to get into the BIOS. I shut it down and put the HDD back in and everything's working OK again.
Any idea what happened?
I installed a new mainboard last month and every thing checks normal so I don't think that it's a hardware problem. . I'm running XP Sp2. I have it set to Suspend when I close the lid. It's been working without any problems.

Thanks. I wonder if it tried to go into hibernation when I bumped the Fn Key when it was coming out of suspend or something like that.
I had Hibernation enabled but I've since disabled it.
I was sitting in a customer's parking lot. I had someone in my office on hold on my cell phone while I was trying to get some info off of the T20. I got so frustrated after all of the work that I recently put into it that I was trying to decide whether it would sail across the lot better with the lid open or closed!
