Only one USB 2.0 port??

Somebody told me that on the ThinkPad T40, only ONE of the ports supports USB 2.0 -- that the second one only supports USB 1.1... This does not really make sense to me as to why anyone owuld have such a setup. If true, WHICH of the two ports is "only" for USB 1.1? I have tried to look closely and could see nothing that indicated that one port was for USB 2.0 while the second was only for USB 1.1...
Does anyone else know about this or heard of this??

===> Thank you for the update. It is always usful to get a confirmation of one's sanity. By the way, I noted that the bottom of the message included two T4x models. Mine happens to be an older T40 (not T40/p) and the type/model is: 2373- MU3 running Windows 2000 (not Windows XP).
